Frequently asked questions
Which environments is the Wide-Flat with Brush Insert suitable for?
It is designed for elegant, high-traffic entrances: hotels, offices, shops, public buildings and hospitality venues. Thanks to its weather resistance and R12 anti-slip certification, it is also suitable for outdoor installation in porches, doorways and semi-covered areas.
Is the mat available made to measure? What sizes can I order?
Yes, the Wide-Flat with Brush Insert is made entirely to measure, from 40×40 cm up to large formats for extensive areas. The modular aluminium construction allows the mat to be fitted precisely to the installation area; for special requirements, please get in touch with us.
How is it installed: does it need to be recessed into the floor or can it be surface mounted?
Both options are available. The slim 16 mm profile allows flush-to-floor installation without creating dangerous trip hazards. You can choose between no edging, an L-shaped recessing profile or a perimeter ramp profile, depending on the entrance layout and the type of installation required.
How is it cleaned and maintained over time?
The scraper brushes are easy to clean: simply remove debris with a vacuum cleaner or shake the mat out; for a deeper clean, use water and a mild detergent. The extruded aluminium frame is corrosion resistant, making routine maintenance straightforward even in demanding environments.
What is the price and how is it calculated?
Prices start from €429 and vary according to size, insert colour (black, grey or brown), orientation and any profile or perimeter edging options selected. The final price is generated by the configurator based on your chosen specifications; for an accurate quotation, use the online configurator or contact us directly.
