It is designed for high-traffic entrances in commercial, industrial, public, hospitality and residential settings. Certified for outdoor use and resistant to harsh weather, it is ideal wherever soil, mud and snow need to be dealt with before they reach the inside of the building.
Can I order it in the sizes I need, or are only standard formats available?
The Rub&Brush is supplied made to measure only: you can request any size from a minimum of 40×40 cm up to a maximum of 5000×5000 cm, for a perfect fit within your existing recessed matwell.
How is it installed and do I need a perimeter profile?
The insert is designed for recessed installation and offers complete flexibility: you can choose to fit no profile at all, opt for a recessed L-shaped profile or go for a ramped perimeter profile. You can also specify vertical edging on 1, 2, 3 or 4 sides to suit the matwell.
How is it cleaned and how often does it need maintenance?
For routine cleaning, simply shake out or vacuum the insert regularly to remove the debris trapped between the brush strips and the rubber elements. For a deeper clean, wash it with water and a neutral detergent, making sure it dries completely before refitting.
How long does it last and does it guarantee slip safety?
The Rub&Brush is rated R12 for slip resistance and achieves class 5 wear resistance – the highest levels for this type of product – and is covered by a 5-year warranty, even under heavy-duty use. It is also fire resistant, an important feature for public and commercial premises.
