Frequently asked questions
Is this mat suitable for outdoor entrances too?
The AluDry Wide Flat with absorbent insert is designed mainly for indoor use and for covered outdoor entrances, where it is sheltered from direct rain. For fully exposed outdoor installations, please get in touch so we can recommend the most suitable solution.
Can I order it in bespoke sizes?
Yes, the mat is made to measure from 40×40 cm upwards and is also available in large formats. You can set the dimensions directly online using our configurator, which calculates the final price based on Side A, Side B and the profile and perimeter edging options you select.
Is it safe in areas with slippery or wet floors?
Yes, the mat is certified slip resistant to R11, which indicates a high level of slip resistance. It is therefore ideal for entrances where dirt and moisture can make floors hazardous, keeping the area safe even under heavy traffic.
How is it cleaned and maintained over time?
Day-to-day maintenance is straightforward: regular vacuuming is enough to remove loose dirt. For a deeper clean you can use a pressure washer, making sure the mat is completely dry before putting it back in place.
Which colours are available and can I choose the type of perimeter edging?
The insert is available in black, anthracite grey and brown. As for the edging, you can choose from several perimeter configurations — from no edging at all to a closed frame on all four sides — as well as the profile type (recessed, ramped or no profile), so the mat fits your space perfectly.
